Autokit.apk/app and dongle support online upgrades to achieve better work performance. Ensure that the Smart Dongle to be upgraded is inserted into a running inverter. Wait for more than 2 minutes, remove the Smart Dongle, and connect the WLAN module, Bluetooth module, or USB data cable to the inverter. Perform this step if communication with the inverter over a WLAN module, Bluetooth module, or USB data cable is required. Upgrading a Dongle. How-to Upgrade a Dongle. The programs Qinsy, Qimera, Qarto and Qastor all make use of the HASP licensing USB dongles. When you have received an activation code, or a renewal code for your annual Support & Maintenance, this code needs to be entered in the License Manager program. For dongle-based systems, you can find the System ID and Dongle Serial Number on the tag attached to the USB dongle. If your dongle has both MAC and PC numbers, enter your PC System ID and PC Serial Number, even if you are registering and upgrading your Macintosh system.
Upgrade Dongle Firmware Infinity
The programs Qinsy, Qimera, Qarto and Qastor all make use of the HASP licensing USB dongles.
When you have received an activation code, or a renewal code for your annual Support & Maintenance, this code needs to be entered in the License Manager program.
The License Manager program is automatically installed when installing one of the above mentioned programs, and it can be found in the Windows Start menu where it is listed under QPS.
(The License Manager can normally be found in the Common Files folder of your C-drive, where it can be accessed by all programs.
Usually the License Manager is installed here: C:Program FilesCommon FilesQPSLicense-Manager.)
In the Qinsy Console the program can be started from the Help option :
- Insert the Qinsy dongle into the computer.
- Click on 'View License Status' to start the executable
The following screen will open:
- Press the 'Upgrade Dongle' button in the License Manager
- The Upgrade Code dialog will appear:

- The code generated by QPS is delivered in an XML file.
- You may either: open the file with a text editor and copy the part of the XML file that is highlighted in yellow:

- Paste the upgrade code in the white area and press 'OK'.
- Or you may: press 'Load XML File' to browse for the file. Open it and the upgrade code will automatically be placed in the Upgrade Code window.
Press 'OK' to activate the code
- Paste the upgrade code in the white area and press 'OK'.
A message will appear when the upgrade was carried out successfully:
- Press 'Close' in the License Manager.
Now you can start up Qinsy.
Trouble upgrading / Fledermaus licenses
