1. Download and Install 1DCutX if you haven't yet done so.

3. Start 1DCutX in Microsoft Excel.
3a. Microsoft Excel 2003:
1. Select 'Tools...' in the main menu.
2. Click on the 'Length (1D) Cutting Optimization...' menu item as shown on the picture.
3b. Microsoft Excel 2007-2013 (32 bit):
1. Select 'Add-Ins' in the main menu.
2. Click on the 'Length (1D) Cutting Optimization...' ribbon element as shown on the picture.
3c. Microsoft Excel 2010-2013 (64 bit):
1. Select 'Add-Ins' in the main menu.
2. Click on the '1DCutX - Linear Cut Optimizer' ribbon element as shown on the picture.
4. Purchase a license key
