All CONSULT diagnostics software, including Datascan, requires a compatible CONSULT cable for use with your computer. We highly recommend the PLMS Consult Cable, as we've found it to be the most reliable and compatible cable available. This software is for vehicles using the CONSULT-1 interface, and it's our favorite software for the Nissan 300ZX! Please note Nissan Data Scan II software is not supplied. The Nissan DataScan II is intended for newer Nissan cars equipped with gray 16 pin OBDII connecter and use the Consult II protocol over K line (DDL2).
